EVT EDUCATIONAL PRODUCTIONS AND PRI EXTEND "THEN I'LL BE FREE TO TRAVEL HOME" DISTRIBUTION CONTRACT THROUGH APRIL 2005.

"...Creating Then I'll Be Free to Travel Home was, in my opinion, a brilliant concept. Thanks again." This ground breaking 13-part Radio Documentary Series recently received a $50,000 completion grant from the Ford Foundation to aid with production, post-production, and distribution-outreach efforts.

The Series chronicles factual stories about ordinary citizens and larger than life people of all backgrounds who made this nation what it is today. It uses the discovery and legacy of the New York African Burial Ground to tellingly capture the significant impact and contributions African-Americans have made to the social, economic, and political development of the United States in their almost 400-year battle against slavery and for full, first-class citizenship. It's a battle that involves all people and all races. Says Executive Producer Eric V. Tait, Jr., "It's American History from a perspective we've never experienced -- from 1613 to 2004: dramatic, excitingly diverse, and authentically informative."

With the extension of the national distribution contract with PRI -- Public Radio International -- EVT Educational Productions has the opportunity to reach an even greater audience than it did with the initial distribution of "Then I'll Be Free To Travel Home" in 2004. PRI is the Minneapolis-based network and managing partner of American Public Radio LLC, the satellite radio company. It provides over 400 hours of programming content each week, that is broadcast and streamed online by its 737 affiliates nationwide. PRI programming is also available nationwide via SIRIUS Satellite Radio.

"Then I'll Be Free To Travel Home" will be airing on SIRIUS Satellite Radio 13 consecutive Sundays starting the 5th of December 2004. SIRIUS, now available to over 10 million DISH Network satellite TV and SIRIUS Satellite Radio subscribers, provides listeners with over 120 channels of the best commercial-free music, sports, information and entertainment, with digital quality sound coast-to-coast, broadcast daily from New York City, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, Houston and Daytona.

Edited at Integrated Automata Studios in Montclair, N.J., the Series is produced by EVT Educational Productions,Inc., in association with Jazz 88.3 WBGO-FM, Newark, N.J. Thurston Briscoe, WBGO Program Director is Host and Narrator. Jacquie Gales Webb is Chief Editor and Consulting Producer. The primary Musical Arranger-Composer and Peformer is Daryl M. Waters, with musical solo performances by Noel Pointer, Ebony Jo Ann, Diana Solomon-Glover and Andre Solomon-Glover.

Principal funding for the Series was provided by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
